Each piece is built from layers of light birch and rich walnut wood, chosen for the natural contrast between the two tones. Every piece is finished with a clear, matte, non-toxic water-based finish that protects the wood while letting its natural character show.

Because we work with real wood, every piece has its own grain, texture and tonal variation, so no two are exactly alike.

Handcrafted in our Connecticut workshop

Every piece is individually cut, hand sanded, hand assembled and finished by hand in our Connecticut workshop. We work in small batches so each piece can be inspected before it leaves our doors.

Each piece arrives ready to hang, with built-in sawtooth hangers, included hanging hardware, rear bumpers that create a subtle floating effect, and our signature metal plaque engraved “243 baby® Made in USA.” These pieces are for decorative use only. We recommend displaying them out of reach of small children and not directly above a crib or sleep space.
